Greater Providence Baptist Church has been around for years and while the world has changed, our community has remained steadfast in its goal to glorify the Lord.

Our Church History

In the year of 1933, the late Rev. I. R. Richardson asked God in prayer to help him organize a church and then permit him to remain pastor of that church until God called him home.

Our Core Mission

To glorify the name of the Lord Jesus Christ through corporate worship and praise, edifying one another through prayer, fellowship, preaching and teaching. We will impact our community through the proclamation of the gospel and witness to the lost by our Christian lifestyle and service to those in need.
